Pamela Usanto launched her self titled Label in Melbourne back in 2010. Her first Red Carpet debut in that same year at Australian Film Institute Awards which marks Pamela Usanto as a brand specializes in evening and bridal wear. Ever since, her gowns were seen in Australia’s red carpet events and award shows such as Logies, Brownlow and ARIA. Her creations were worn by celebrated Australian talents such as Tina Arena, Ashleigh Brewer, Montaigne, Kimbra, Virginia Gay, Saskia Hampele, Lisa Mitchell and Kate Kendall.
Earlier in her career Pamela Usanto studied Fashion Technology in RMIT University while working with Australian couturiers in her second year of studies. After graduating she lived her dream as she travelled to New York City to intern with Marchesa where she worked closely with the Production Director for couture and bridal.
Recently Pamela Usanto decided to return to her hometown Jakarta, where she now resides and opened her very own Atelier. Since 2017 Pamela Usanto Atelier have proudly dressed Indonesian gems such as Raisa, Eva Celia, BCL, Abigail Cantika, and Nadin Amizah.
Pamela Usanto Bridal pieces have been worn by women In Australia since 2011. She work closely with her brides as her passion is to dress women by truly knowing them. Pamela Usanto is known to name her dresses after her brides and she intend to continue this tradition for as long as her brand exist. Pamela Usanto wishes her creation to be available globally as she launches her Pret a Porter Bridal collection.
